This is a model I'm working on and that's almost finished, made with the new beta version of blender (2.53).

In fact it's an exercise to practice with the new gui in blender, and it works fine and the render time has been improved a lot, being much faster.

August has ended and here we are in september. A moment of change and reboot. maybe it's better to begin with minimalism and try to face things the simplest way.

I've began making a wallpaper for ubuntu. The image was created using inkscape, blender and the gimp.

This is the new wallpaper I've made for Ubuntu, if you want to change your screen look. It's made in 3D using the latest blender version (2.53 beta) and a little of photo retouching with the Gimp.

These are some icons I've made in 3D for some programs, because I disliked the one provided as default or because I wanted a high-res version. They are, from left to right:

- Ardour: A multichannel digital audio workstation that comes with ubuntu studio.
- Jack: A sound server also included in that distro.
- Qsynth: A fluidsynth GUI front-end application. Fluidsynth is software synthesiser based on the Soundfont specification.
- VirtualBox: A general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware.
